Policies & Forms

Cancellation Policy - Since the scheduling of an appointment involves reserving time specifically for that client, a minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule or cancel your appointment. The full session fee will be charged for sessions missed without such notification.

Inclement Weather Policy - We make every effort to be in the office, however in the event of inclement weather, our office will follow the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) emergency weather procedures. If federal government offices are closed, clients will not be penalized for cancelling your session.

Forms - After scheduling your initial appointment, your clinician will ask you to complete the First Steps paperwork. The paperwork allows First Steps and clients to establish a treatment agreement. The paperwork contains important information about therapy expectations, confidentiality and office policies.
